Our Vision
In 1982 the Lord said to Evangelist Stephen K. Gyermeh the founder of CLG, “Postpone all of your scheduled meetings and wait on me for further directions”.
At the end of 21 days of waiting upon the Lord in prayer and fasting, Pastor Gyermeh saw himself in a vision, walking with Jesus and the disciples. Jesus led them to the middle of the sea.
All around them there were thousands of drowning people struggling to swim to safety.
Jesus then declared: “All these are my people perishing, but they don’t know what to do to save themselves. Go and show them how it’s done.”

Since its inception in 1983, The Church of the Living God (CLG) has had the Vision of reaching cities and nations with the Good News of the Gospel: “Rescuing the Perishing, Caring for the Dying.”
