Youth Minister

Minister Kojo Asante is the Youth and Young Adult Pastor here at the church. He received his Bachelor of Science in Religion: Pastoral Leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He has served at the church of the Living God for three years. 

Minister of Pastoral Care

Minister Jasper Ezeigbo, Jr. is a unique and profound teacher of the Word. His spirit- filled messages have helped broaden the understanding of many believers. Jasper manifests a strong passion to enlighten people from different walks of life with the living word of God, through the enabling power of the Holy Spirit. Jasper has worshipped and served at the Church of the Living God, FGM Hyattsville, Maryland for over 20 years. He is a dynamic leader, who wants to see lives transformed by the power of God; to discover and maximize their God-given potential, and to fulfill His will and purpose in these last days.

He currently holds a position as Shift Supervisor with Montgomery County Pre- Release and Reentry Services Division of the Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation in Rockville, Maryland. His blessed and cherished family includes his lovely wife- Chinyere Ezeigbo and children – Jasper III, Joshua, Jesse, Jonathan and Janessa Olachinyerem. 

Minister of Missions

Following her salvation experience in 1992-93 Ebby Kamila Haywood (f.k.a Ebby Kamila Anyamba) began to sense a call to ministry.  She answered the call in 2000 and has been serving as Minister of Missions at The Church of the Living God since July 2003.  She assists with local outreach at the Hyattsville Branch and helps with coordination of church planting activities both in the US and Overseas.  

In her former life, she was a senior lecturer in Meteorology at the University of Nairobi, Kenya; and senior support scientist with General Sciences Corporation at NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, USA. She holds a BS in Mathematics & Meteorology, MS in Meteorology, Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science and Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Global Missions.  She is blessed with an adult daughter, Sharon Ijusa, and loving husband, Ashley Haywood.

Lead Music Minister

Minister Esther has attended The Church of the Living God, FGM (Hyattsville) since its inception in 1983.  Over the years she has served in the Youth ministry as well as Music ministry.  In 2002 she was hired as the Asst. Music Minister and in 2007 became the Lead Music Minister.  

She has both a passion for God and music and desires that people experience the presence and power of God through music and the arts.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary English Education from Towson University and a Master of Arts in Practical Theology from Regent University.  She is married to Kwabena Ofori-Ansah and together they have four energetic children, Judah, Hadassah, Davian, and Jordan.
