Tenets of Our Faith
It is essential that we all speak the same thing, and being persuaded that the following Tenets of Faith are consistent with Biblical truth, we do hereby set them forth as a declaration of those things which are most assuredly believed among us.
THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
THE TRINITY
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
DEITY OF CHRIST
We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in His virgin birth. We believe in His sinless life. We believe in His miracles. We believe in His vicarious and atoning death. We believe in His bodily resurrection.
We believe in His ascension to the right hand of the Father. We believe in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
SALVATION
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance from sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
DIVINE HEALING
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
HEAVEN AND HELL
We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
